    Join Hill Country Conservancy as we help keep the Violet Crown Trail clean and safe! This event is open to anyone, and is a great way to get involved on the VCT! We’ll spend about 1.5 hours on the trail, picking up trash and enjoying a leisurely walk.

    Houston Wilderness invites all individuals and corporate groups to volunteer for the Houston Ship Channel TREES program. The HSC TREES program is a multi-year collaborative project facilitated by Houston Wilderness utilizing targeted large-scale tree plantings along the Houston Ship Channel to protect and restore riparian habitat as well as enhance ecosystem services that combat climate change, reduce the urban heat island effect and improve the health of all Houstonians. Through the planting of the 14 Native Super Tree Species, Houston Wilderness is contributing to Resilient Houston’s goal of 4.6 million trees by 2030.

    CPC is proud to support the Hermann Park Conservancy in restoring Whistlestop Prairie for a new monthly volunteer day! We are working on native plant restoration and removal of invasives in the prairie area.

    TLC’s Malone Preserve is located just outside of Rio Vista in North Texas and is not yet open to the public. This workday will focus on habitat restoration and trail maintenance, providing access to the West Prairie and the Overlook Trail.
