    The Texas Agricultural Land Trust (TALT) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are presenting a series of workshops to share information that could benefit landowners across the state. The workshops will focus on conservation tools and resources including the NRCS Agricultural Conservation Easement Program which provides financial support to landowners. Lunch will be provided, and all participants should register one week in advance. Registration link can be found HERE.

    The Playa Field Day will provide information about playa ecosystems and how to improve monitoring of playa flooding using satellite imagery, as well as a tour of a playa restoration project completed through the Texas Playa Conservation Initiative. There will also be a tour of The Tap, an Ogallala Aquifer exhibit at At’l Do Farms in Shallowater to conclude the event. Lunch is included with the registration fee.
