Driving for Conservation: Jetco Delivers $1 Per Load With Texan by Nature Partnership

The donation catalyzes the recognition of Texas companies committed to conservation

AUSTIN, TX — Jetco announced today a partnership with Texan by Nature (TxN) to drive industry leadership in conservation and environmental sustainability. With Drive for Conservation, Jetco will donate $1 per load delivered each month through 2023 and beyond. This partnership catalyzes Texan by Nature’s mission, including the 2023 Texan by Nature 20 (TxN 20), an official ranking of companies with Texas operations and tangible commitments to conservation. The collaboration establishes a dynamic platform for sharing best practices, innovative solutions, and impactful commitments that deliver positive outcomes for people, prosperity, and natural resources in Texas.

While freight transportation is essential for global trade, Jetco recognizes the urgent need for implementing sustainable solutions and innovative strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Using Smart Fleet Management, Jetco weaves sustainability into route planning, fuel efficiency, operations, and company culture. By elevating the importance of sustainability across all sectors, including this partnership with Texan by Nature, Jetco acts as an example for moving toward a sustainable future, with businesses of all sizes joining the cause.

“Spurred on by our clients’ sustainability initiatives and with their ongoing support, we’re excited to announce our $1 per load Drive for Conservation with Texan by Nature. It is a significant step towards making a lasting impact on our environment and communities,” said Kyle Kristynik, President at Jetco. “With our investment in the TxN 20, we hope to amplify cross-industry innovations and actions that will inspire and propel businesses toward a sustainable future.”

The prestigious TxN 20 list will be released in the fall of 2023 for its third consecutive year.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Jetco to recognize Texas businesses committed to conservation,” said Joni Carswell, CEO and President at Texan by Nature. “With our partnership, we aim to celebrate tangible efforts and showcase data-backed examples of sustainability across various industry sectors. We believe this collaboration will help inspire and catalyze cross industry action in conservation.”

To select the TxN 20, TxN conducts independent research across 2,000+ of Texas’ publicly traded and private companies for 12 industry sectors. Key scoring criteria include: stated commitment to conservation, reported metrics related to conservation, measured investment in conservation, reported Return on Conservation, positive conservation impact on land, water, wildlife, people, waste, energy, as well as focus on operations such as infrastructure, production and supply chain, employee engagement, and more. Each year, an esteemed selection committee of top industry leaders is formed to evaluate the top 60 companies and select the final honorees for the TxN 20.
