Comerica Bank’s Jayme Shy Appointed to Texan by Nature Board of Directors
Nonpartisan Conservation Nonprofit, Founded by Former First Lady Laura Bush, Appoints New Director to its Prestigious Statewide Board
September 26, 2023 – TEXAS –Texan by Nature (TxN), a Texan-led conservation nonprofit founded by former First Lady Laura Bush, is proud to announce the appointment of Jayme Shy to its Board of Directors. With a distinguished 15-year career in financial regulatory law, Shy brings a wealth of experience to her new role, providing strategic guidance and support as TxN continues to expand its mission of advancing conservation by uniting conservation and industry.

Shy currently serves as the SVP & Associate General Counsel, Regulatory Affairs at Comerica Bank, where she manages the bank’s Office of Regulatory Relations and oversees regulatory engagements and interactions. In addition, she is a member of Comerica’s ESG Committee and provides support to the bank’s Corporate Sustainability Program. ’Committed to conservation, Jayme also serves as Chair of the Texas Market Green Team, a Comerica employee resource group, focusing on sustainability awareness and implementing sustainable workplace solutions.
