Texas Botanical Gardens and Native American Interpretive Center

The Texas Botanical Gardens and Native American Interpretive Center’s mission is to provide a dynamic learning experience while identifying, preserving, and showcasing the rich prehistoric and environmental aspects of rural Central Texas. The project consists of an interactive facility that features ethnobotanic gardens and the Native American Interpretive Center, which exhibits ancient Texans’ use of local plants and waterways, and the impact the environment of Central Texas had on their social, educational, spiritual, and cultural lives. Educational offerings include seminars, lectures, workshops, film series, guided tours, Junior Historian and Junior Master Gardener programs, and after school and summer youth programs.
