San Antonio Botanical Garden

Opened to the public in 1980, the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s mission is to inspire people to connect with the plant world and understand the importance of plants in our lives.

The Garden covers 38 acres, featuring a rose garden, family-accessible gardens, tropical plant exhibits, a Texas native plant trail, a teaching kitchen, low-water demonstration gardens, a birdwatching structure, and offers a variety of seasonal events, exhibits, classes, and camps.
