Location: STATEWIDE, Texas

Founded in 1982, the Land Trust Alliance is a national land conservation organization that represents more than 1,000 land trusts supported by more than five million members nationwide. Their mission is to save the places people need and love by strengthening land conservation across America. As a voice of the land trust community, the Alliance is a national leader in policy, standards, education and training, working to support land trusts as they save and secure lands for future generations. The Alliance seeks to increase the rate of land conservation, defend the land trust community from threats and build healthy, high-performing land trusts.

The Alliance builds the capacity of land trusts through education, training curricula, regrants and financial assistance to land trusts, in addition to promoting conservation-minded public policies and programs, challenging threats to land trusts, and promoting the value of land conservation. The Alliance also provides collaborative leadership to the land conservation sector to find practical solutions and set common goals for private land conservation nationally and seeks to build a unifying network within the land trust community.
