The Young Texan Ambassadors (YTA) program is designed to help young people develop leadership skills while emphasizing environmental stewardship and community building. The primary objective is to provide ambassadors with resources beyond regular school hours, allowing them to educate and raise awareness about litter prevention, environmentalism, and community organization. Texans between the ages of 15 and 25 who are passionate about the environment and committed to making Texas the best place to live, work, and play through volunteerism and leadership are eligible to join this program. To become an ambassador, students must commit to serving for one year from August to May.
