Join Coastal Prairie Conservancy for our monthly nature hike on the Katy Prairie Preserve! This month’s theme is “Beetles and Bugs”. Enjoy a guided hike through the prairie, exploring different areas each month. Observe and learn about wildflowers, insects, and birds. Finish with pond dip-netting at the prairie potholes.

All ages are welcome. We’ll start with a brief overview and safety talk. Please wear outdoor clothing including sun/insect protection and close-toed shoes (high socks/boots preferred). Please also bring a water bottle. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. The event will take place rain or shine!
