Join this Unplugged Adventure: Birding the Katy Prairie as part of Houston Audubon Bird Week! This walking birding tour will be led by local birding expert, John Berner, who has birded all 254 Texas counties and completed over 10,000 ebird lists over 17 years. John is an ebird reviewer for Waller and Harris Counties, and also assists with grassland bird research on KPC properties. He is an experienced birder on KPC lands, so you won’t want to miss this Unplugged Adventure!

The birding tour will meet at KPC’s Field Office at the Indiangrass Preserve and depart together to bird KPC’s preserves. Much of this excursion will be off trail, so make sure to dress accordingly and bring binoculars.
