Observe the night sky and learn about constellations and planets with the San Antonio Astronomical Association!
Take turns looking through telescopes brought by our local astronomers to see the stars, planets, and moon in the summer sky.
Total darkness is at 9:04 p.m., so the first hour and a half will be your chance to listen to some star-party-themed stories, join in kids and family activities, and take a short walk in the park. Once it’s dark, we’ll turn our sights to the skies!
What To Expect: Please bring a RED-LIGHT flashlight, bring your own chair, dress for the weather, and park in the Urban Ecology Center parking lot.
