RESCHEDULED Hillside Stewardship Hill Country Landowner Workshop

May 11 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join the Hill Country Alliance and the Edwards Aquifer Authority in the field for a hands-on workshop opportunity for Hill Country landowners and managers. During this field day, we will explore several structures (and practice building a couple) that landowners and managers can use to help mitigate erosion, enable resilience against drought and flooding, enhance groundwater infiltration, and establish vegetation on their properties.

Registration is $15, which includes snacks, drinks, printed educational materials, and learning from one of the top experts on the topic. Dr. Mollie Walton, a restoration ecologist with deep ranching-roots in Hamilton County, has supported land stewards across the West for decades to restore productivity to their rangelands. In addition to learning from Walton, participating land stewards will also have the opportunity to share their own stewardship experiences and lessons learned with one another.
