Hill Country Conservancy invites you to join us for a nature walk on the Violet Crown Trail hosted by ecologist Jacob Owen. Take a deep dive into the flora and fauna found along the 290 section of the Violet Crown Trail with ecologist Jacob Owen leading the way! Jacob specializes in endangered and threatened species with an emphasis on ecological research, and holds a MS in biology from Tarleton State University and a BS in wildlife biology from Texas State University. Jacob’s extensive knowledge of nature will bring a new and fascinating element to this walk on the trail.
