Texas Native Cats presents Patricia Harveson, who will discuss the history and controversy of the current mountain lion policy in Texas, as well as recent efforts to encourage science-based management including a defensible plan for monitoring and regulating mountain lion populations in Texas.
Dr. Patricia Moody Harveson is a wildlife biologist with over 15 years of experience studying mountain lions in Texas. She is an adjunct professor at Sul Ross State University and the former Davidson Endowed Chair for Conservation Biology with the Borderlands Research Institute.
