Hillside Stewardship Landowner Workshop

April 20 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Hill Country Alliance and Edwards Aquifer Authority are hosting a fun, interactive, hands-on field day for Hill Country landowners. At this workshop, participants will learn about several structures (and build one or two) designed to help mitigate erosion, enhance soil moisture and land productivity, as well as enable resilience to drought and flooding. These structures are cost-effective and can often be built using materials commonly found on properties like brush slash or cuttings and loose rocks.

Registration is $15, which includes snacks, drinks, printed educational materials, and learning from one of the top experts on the topic. Dr. Mollie Walton, a restoration ecologist with deep ranching-roots in Hamilton County, has supported land stewards across the West for decades to restore productivity to their rangelands.
